I have the privilege of introducing FOLA INTERNATIONAL MODEL SCHOOLS, OWODE-EDE, OSUN STATE. The Schools poise to grow and become one of the Nigeria’s finest schools.

FOLA INTERNATIONAL MODEL SCHOOLS is proud to offer a Creche, Nursery and Primary School, Secondary School, and Sixth Form (A’Level and University preparatory studies) that have three key goals: to develop confidence, provide opportunities and realise potentials. All our pupils benefit from our shared attributes where manners, sportsmanship and high levels of effort are the cornerstones to the education they receive.
Our curriculum is a diverse blend of the essential academic foundations mixed with a generous assortment of skill acquisition, entrepreneurial training, sport, art, drama and music. As the pupils move through the School, an ever growing range of extracurricular activities become available. This approach, and the fact that FOLA INTERNATIONAL MODEL SCHOOLS provide education for pupils of all ages, helps to generate the school’s warmth ‘family’ atmosphere. We are one big family under God.
Bringing the best out of your child
FOLA INTERNATIONAL MODEL SCHOOLS ensure that the needs of the individual are identified and strengths are fully developed. Many factors make this possible, such as low class sizes, excellent tutorial systems. We also give personal advice and support to pupils through our teachers as opposed to simply teaching them.
To our mind, a pupil-centred view is the only valid approach because schools are not production lines, and pupils are not machines. We ensure that all pupils/students move on to adulthood as happy and successful people who are true to themselves.

Our location
The Schools are located in a serene atmosphere conducive for learning with the state of the art facilities for both the Junior Schools and the High Schools. The Schools are proud to be one of the most beautiful locations in the South West,Nigeria, situated less than two kilometer to Osun State Government Secretariat, Abere, Osun State.
The happy, friendly and relaxed feel of the School, when combined with the committed and caring staff, provides the ideal atmosphere for pupils to flourish.
FOLA offers opportunities that many children would not get at many other schools, always encouraging and supporting them to achieve higher than what they can possibly imagine.
Entrance examinations and scholarships
Entrance and scholarship examinations are held in May and July each year for September school admission while supplementary entrance examinations are available for pupils/students on transfer at the middle of the session on the basis of availability of space.
The School offers exclusive competitive discounts to military, para-military and clergy direct family members as well as Sibling Discount to family with more than two children in the school.
Academic scholarships are awarded at ages 10+, 12+ and Sixth Form, to pupils and students showing exceptional ability or talent in art, music, sport or entrepreneurship. All scholarships carry a fixed value.
Scholarship are also available up to 100% of fees for indigent pupils, thereby providing access for gifted pupils who may otherwise have been unable to benefit from FOLA INTERNATIONAL MODEL SCHOOLS educational services.
Admissions
Children joining the School below Year 2 do not sit any formal assessments. Children joining after this point are assessed using age-standardised assessments.
